My printer is not shown in [Select from the printers on the network]

Check the followings in case the printer is not shown in [Select from the printers on the network] on [Add Printer].

  • Check that the printer is powered on.
  • Check that the network configuration (IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway) on the printer is set up correctly. For details, contact your network administrator.
  • Check that your printer and computer are in the same segment. If not in the same segment, add your printer from [Add a printer using IP address]. For details, contact your network administrator.
