Finding great looking, user-friendly, legible fonts for text and headlines isn’t easy. Google Fonts has 900+ fonts designed by distinguished type designers and foundries that contain multiple weights and styles that are all open-source and 100% free for personal and commercial use.
Originally created to allow web fonts to easily be used on web sites, anyone can download and use them for free.
The site is easy to use, browse the site for a font you want to use, click or tap the font box, and styles, glyphs and download are all displayed on a new page. Fonts are downloaded in families and are ZIP files when downloaded. Fonts can be sorted by category, language, font properties, trending, most popular, newest, and name.

Google teamed up with fonts.com to create a list of fonts displayed as they appear and created Skyfonts, a small utility that can sync and update Google Fonts on your device. To view the list of fonts, just click the “Browse Google Fonts” at the site. To download Skyfonts, click the “Install Skyfonts” button.
